Broward college held it’s annual financial aid workshop at central campus last Saturday morning (2/20) … BC staff provided guidance for parents and students as they navigated through the paperwork and online forms needed.

Professional Development Day occurred last Friday morning (2/19) at Broward College’s central campus … The morning began at Bailey Hall with a large awards ceremony followed with breakout sessions.

Several artists were featured last Wednesday night (2/17) during Broward College’s Black History Month art exhibit at the downtown headquarters building. It turned out to be a long work day for me … starting with overtime at the control tower (3-6am), followed by my normal FAA shift (6am-4pm), THEN the photo shoot from 6-9pm … [...]

Just finished up shooting Broward College’s annual Language of Inclusion Day. Students listened to guest speaker Dr. Eduardo Bonilla-Silva’s presentation on Racism and Discrimination followed by several breakout sessions and a book signing.

Broward College is sponsoring a mentoring program between volunteers and students. The program also uses a web based system to make it easier for both parties to communicate … This shoot (last Wednesday) covered the mentor orientation and introduction to the mentees.
